Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the very first woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In 2013, as well as 2017 she was the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. From the age of a child, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. She participated for the first time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California and did well. Due to her exceptional performance, she was able to claim the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 led her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she had won consecutively. The silver medal was awarded in 2014. In 2021, she won a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has gained fame for her athletic abilities has been featured in commercials for sporting products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs as well as other. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is titled "Annie" which has over a thousand subscribers. The channel is the channel where she posts videos on eating habits, parenting and travel.
